City of Homer Business License Conversation
What do you think of a City of Homer Business license?
The Homer City Council has asked the Economic Development Commission to consider a City of Homer business license. The Commission will talk about the idea at their June 11th and August 13th meetings. The EDC has been asked to come up with pros and cons on the idea, discuss them with the business community and Chamber of Commerce, and report back to Council. Its likely the Chamber will host a luncheon in support of this dialogue between the City and the business community.
There is no draft ordinance, nor is the EDC going to create one; this is a conversation, resulting in comments for Council. The full Council resolution and requested information can be viewed here.
